response to death of a naturalist

things i enjoyed playing with when I was younger but dont like now:

drawing
painting
playing games with friends
splash in puddles

As I got older I felt that I was rubbish at drawing and painting and didn't have the mad skillz I wanted to enjoy what I was doing. I started to feel that I was too mature to enjoy the games I used to play with my friends.

I think that 'Death of a Naturalist'  is about nature. Nature is evoked beautifully in the first few lines.
This is because Heaney uses images such as 'flax-dam festering'  and 'bubbles gargled delicately' to create the image of this peaceful natural world.
